Jacqueline C. Hampton
Jacqueline C. Hampton was born and raised in Russell County, Virginia. She has lived in Russell County all her life. She graduated from Castlewood High School where she met her husband, Michael. She and her late husband are the parents of one son, David. She attended Clinch Valley College and Mountain Empire Community College. She graduated Suma Cum Laude in May of 1990 in Legal Assistance. In March of 1990, Jackie began her legal career. She has worked hand in hand with Mike for more than 26 years, assisting him in the handling of personal injury cases and helping clients injured in all types of accidents. Jackie has extensive experience as a litigation paralegal. Today Jackie’s focus includes both personal injury and worker compensations cases. Jackie supports the clients by spending time with each individual, while listening to their concerns and problems. She delights in helping anyone who is in need. She enjoys reading, writing, and traveling to different areas to research family history.
She loves going for walks on local trails. Her main joy is her son David and she relishes their time spent together, especially in going on new adventures together.
Jody Mathis
Jody Mathis graduated from Council High School and continued her education at Southwest Virginia Community College with an Associates Degree in Data Processing. She currently resides in Council with her husband and two daughters. Jody began working with Mike 30 years ago, in his law practice in Lebanon Virginia. Her experience has centered around helping those disabled from the work force. She has extensive experience as a social security paralegal. She has helped thousands of clients obtain their benefits from the Social Security Administration. Jody’s qualities of patience, compassion and understanding along with her many years of experience, allow her to effectively assist and communicate with our disabled clients.
Jody managed to balance her full schedule with the home schooling of her two daughters for ten years and she enjoyed the opportunity to be active in the home schooling organization as a test proctor and test site coordinator. In her spare time, she enjoys outside activities, exercising and spending time with her family. She has had the privilege of teaching Sunday school for the past 15 years.
